Oktember Fest and no knitting

Last weekend Mike and I drove down to Vancouver (about 5 hours) to see our friends and go to Oktember Fest. There was snow on the way down, and there was a section that was pretty bad. The drive home was much better, although there was still some snow on the road. We had a great time with Bob and Valli our gracious hosts and enjoyed seeing some other friends at the dance. I ate too much and couldn't dance as much as I wanted to (out of breath) but overall we all had a great time.

I got hardly any knitting done this weekend and the progress on the baby sweater has been slow. I'm down to the bottom of the sweater but am not sure about the lines.... I'll have to see if I like how they are working up. Since this is my first full sweater I'll have to see how it looks, then I might tackle one for me, maybe.
